Journal of Materials Education (Electronic) is a Diamond Open Access journal from 2024 onward. The journal does not charge authors any Article Processing Charges (APCs) for the publication of accepted manuscripts.
Authors are not required to pay submission fees, editorial processing fees, peer-review fees, publication fees, page charges, or online hosting charges. All accepted articles are published without mandatory payment from authors.
The journal is committed to supporting open and equitable scholarly communication in materials science and engineering education. Under the Diamond Open Access model, published articles are freely available to readers, while authors can publish their work without financial barriers.
All articles published from 2024 onward are made available under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License (CC BY 4.0), allowing users to read, download, share, distribute, and reuse the work with proper attribution to the original author(s), the article, and the journal.
Journal of Materials Education (Electronic) does not request hidden charges or post-acceptance publication payments. Any official communication regarding submission, review, acceptance, or publication must come from the journal’s authorized editorial office.
