Journal of Materials Education (Electronic) is committed to maintaining an efficient and timely peer-review process while ensuring the quality, integrity, and scholarly value of published work.
The journal follows a single-blind peer-review process. After submission, each manuscript undergoes an initial editorial screening, which is normally completed within 10 days. Manuscripts that meet the journal’s scope, formatting requirements, and basic scholarly standards are then forwarded for peer review.
The full review process is normally completed within 4 months, depending on the availability of reviewers, the nature of the manuscript, and the extent of revision required. Authors are informed of editorial decisions as soon as the review process is completed.
Accepted manuscripts are scheduled for publication in the upcoming issue of the journal. Journal of Materials Education (Electronic) publishes three issues annually, in April, August, and December.
